Daniela Millan’s interest in jewelry design began at the young age of 18, when she found herself making earrings and necklaces for her college friends, but it was quickly becoming apparent that this pastime was much more than that, since Daniela's talents far exceeded her age. This invaluable experience encouraged Daniela to continue making jewelry over the next years, where she began to display a flair for fantasy in her designs, and also show a remarkable talent for incorporating very unique techniques into her work. These were the beginnings of the distinguishing style that can now be found throughout her collection.

It was Living in New York City, when her unique style was exposed in a commercial way. The city that never sleeps became the witness of her awakening as a real artist. She got her inspiration from so many things… simple things, like the beauty of a summer dress, the elegance of an Italian fabric or just from the passion and imagination of each emerging designer she met. Daniela started to try the well known Crochet technique but applied to jewelry. She realized she could create so many forms using a simple wire.

Daniela’s creations result in exquisite pieces that are not only trendy but highly original and unique. She mixes semi-precious stones with artistic wires in a tasteful style that highlights the grace and elegance of every woman.

One of those exceptional pieces, Media Luna (Crescent), allowed the artist to become one of the finalists in the prestigious world contest “Swarovski Elements 2008” in 2008.

Daniela decided to dig deeper into the jewelry world and took classes of metals and stones at one of the most renowned schools in Mexico called “Nueve25 Plata Estudio”. Her curiosity and ambition for unique materials and expanded markets drove Daniela to set her studio in this city in 2009, launching her brand “Daniela Millan Designs”.

From there, Daniela’s creativity has prompted her designs to be exposed in outlets in Latin America as well as in the United States. Daniela’s magnificent bracelets and marvelous necklaces are being worn by TV celebrities and active women that are incited by the uniqueness and trendiness of Daniela Millan designs.
